I-Marketing Tip

Writing for the internet is harder than it seems. Fully 75% of all pages written online contain grammatical and typographical errors, making them appear unprofessional. Plus, authors that are ESL often make syntax errors that are very apparent. That's why Writing For The Internet is so valuable. So, get your copy today!

TMD2 (Formerly, The Den)                                                                               TMD2 Mission Statement
Tracker Mo's Den launched in July, 2005 as an affiliate of Plug-In-Profits, an excellent start up business for new marketers who want to learn the basics of marketing since it includes membership in five different affiliate and/or MLM systems, a free website and a ton of information and support about marketing.

From that launching point, Tracker Mo Den evolved to focus more and more on e-tool references, serving the marketing community as a reference point. In its latest incarnation, TMD2 offers a wide-variety of information related strictly to i-marketing tools.

Tracker Mo, The Person
The moniker, "Tracker Mo," is an extension of Marige O'Brien's nickname, Mo (from her initials). When asked to create a domain name for her first PIPs site, she decided on Tracker Mo, since the euphemism "track" or "tracking" has been so closely linked to online marketing (tracking reports, ad tracking, etc.)

The Den
Because the original trackers of the wild kept all their greatest treasures in their den, Mo decided to continue with the same line of thinking, and dubbed her website, "Track Mo's Den".

Please Note:
No animals were harmed in the creation of this site.

Background
On Computers
Marige has been online since 1984, when she worked as a computer analyst for AT&T-Communications, International Marketing Division.

Not to be out done by a mere corporation, she bought her first "PC" in 1985, which had the distinction of having "not 1, but TWO" 5-1/4" floppy disk drives, plus a "letter quality printer!" (Believe it or not, this was the "top of the line" at the time.) She first went online privately with the advent of Prodigy in 1989, which was soon replaced by a new, upstart company called, America On Line (AOL).

In 2001, she studied HTML via an online course offered by webyoda.com and became a Certified Website Designer. She then began working in web design and created her own company, Overall Creations, which focused on small business websites.

On Writing
Marige studied journalism in College and has been writing professionally since 1995, when she worked as a feature editor for an offline trade newsletter, "The Penn-Jersey Craft Show List" where she contributed 1-2 articles per issue. These included, "color" pieces, as well as craft show reviews and interviews of notable crafters and co-ordinators. She has also written several freelance articles for local newspapers, two ebooks and over 35 articles related to online marketing and writing and worked as an freelance copy writer.

Apart from business writing, she has also written one mainstream novel, two juvenile novels and three screenplays and continues to write (see more...).

On Entrepreneurialism
Marige has owned and operated two offline businesses: A landscaping business with her ex-husband that focused on design and maintenance for 15 years; and, alone, a crafting business in which she sold hand-painted clothing for three years.

On Sales/Marketing
Apart from the promotion of her writing and her offline businesses, Marige also worked in the restaurant industry for nine years, as a bartender and restaurant manager, which taught her all aspects of sales, including customer support and service.
