| Now The Article Markets Start |

This week I've noticed that I've been getting emails from all the markets I submit articles to-- solicitious emails. I just got one from a market, articlesnatch.com and, at the bottom of this obvious solicitation, it said, You are receiving this email because you are a contributing author at
articlesnatch.com. If you wish to be removed from this email
distribution, please visit our site and cancel your membership.Huh? Are they OUT OF THEIR COTTON-PICKNG MINDS!?!?
They think they have the right to SPAM me because I contribute articles To THEM??? What's wrong with this picture?
This is only one step shy of those scam sites that try to induce naive and gullible new marketers into PAYING to publish their articles. It's a Scam, with a capital "S" because they don't "publish" the articles. All they do is make them available for publication. The NEWSLETTERS publish them. It's also a scam because inexperienced writers don't realize that these article submission sites, while freely accepting your articles, have nothing to do with getting them published at all and, if read carefully, their literature only alludes to any publication.
Well, I do believe I will declare war on these sites. I can't submit my work-- FINE with me!
There are over 5,000 sites on the internet that not only will NOT add to my ever-burgeoning list of spammers, but will feature my articles with due respect. I think I will visit articlesnatch-- and then take them off my article market links page, too!
I'm really starting to feel old... I can remember when a writer actually got paid just for writing an article. Imagine that. --mo
