Welcome!
Another Installment in As The Marketer Turns. . . LOL! Though some of these make me squirm with embarrassment, they do show the developments as a marketer and in marketing-- it's everything from fun to frustrating. Just like the rest of the internet. (So, you "think" you want to work here, huh?) ;-)

In my last post, I focused on my new newsletter, Tracker Mo's Report, which will combine all my blogs and my articles, will have the option of an RSS Feed or email sign-up and be published 1-2 times a week. But today I will tell you about the plans I have to re-vamp my website, which I mentioned last time.

First of all, though I will be forever grateful that PIPs (Plug-In-Profits) gave me my start in marketing and though I still believe it is immensely valuable for anyone wanting to learn all the in's and out's of this business, the fact is, I am ready to change the look of my site. I like the general lay-out because it's very professional, but I want something that's more unique, more Tracker Mo-ish. To that end, while I could spend a lot of time and energy creating something completely my own, the fact is, I don't have time. So I've been looking for a template I can use that would be appropriate.

But I'm planning much more than mere cosmetic-surgey (website-wise). I'm also planning to make the whole site much more navigable and user-friendly. This is another reason for the new template.

I need some features and functions that simply don't exist in the current layout. For one thing, I would like to list all my recommended opportunities, with a quick review on the first page and, for those with a longer review, link that to a secondary page. (I'm also planning to add a section to warn people against those programs that don't meet their promises-- so it should get really interesting!) This way, it will be easier to browse through them, without getting bogged down in info that isn't what the visitor is looking for.

Secondly, I'd also like to make features like my newsletter, articles and article submission link page easier to find. Right now, it seems like their getting "lost in the sauce," as it were.

Third, I am planning to add a forum of my own in the near future, one that focuses on writing for the internet-- or, writing for business/marketing. When that's up and running, it will be announced in my newsletter.

So look for these changes in the coming weeks. I will add announcements here, especially when my newsletter is up. --mo
